Scotty Cameron Limited Edition Phantom OC Spec III Putters
Scotty Cameron has introduced the limited-edition Phantom OC Spec III putters, bringing an all-black finish, bold alignment features and low-torque performance to two of its popular mallet designs.
Built around the Phantom 5 OC and Phantom 11R OC, the new models combine modern shaping with refined details designed to inspire confidence on the greens.
What Is Onset Center Technology?
Scotty Cameron’s Onset Center (OC) technology positions the shaft behind the leading edge of the putter head and in line with its centre of gravity. This design helps minimise torque, encouraging a more stable, square-to-the-path putting stroke while maintaining the feel and feedback golfers expect.
Phantom OC Spec III Features
Both limited-edition models feature a glare-resistant black PVD finish, three high-contrast sightlines for improved alignment, a black steel shaft and a custom black mid-size Matador grip. The Spec III designation reflects a carefully refined performance build, with each component working together to create a cohesive setup.
Phantom 5 OC Spec III
The Phantom 5 OC Spec III features a compact, modern wingback mallet design that has become a familiar favourite among professional golfers.
Its full-face Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert, finished with chain-link face milling, is designed to deliver a softer sound and feel at impact. Combined with the all-black finish and three alignment sightlines, it offers a clean look at address with the stability of a low-torque design.
Phantom 11R OC Spec III
The Phantom 11R OC Spec III offers a larger, rounded mallet profile designed for stability and high moment of inertia (MOI).
It shares the same black PVD finish and high-contrast sightlines, while Scotty Cameron’s chain-link face milling provides a responsive, soft feel at impact. Its rounded shaping and stable profile make it a distinctive option for golfers seeking a confidence-inspiring mallet.
