Titleist Introduces All-New GT Driver & Fairway Wood Line

Titleist has introduced its latest line of GT drivers, including the GT2, GT3, and GT4 models, which are designed to push the boundaries of driver performance. These drivers are built to deliver enhanced speed, distance, and forgiveness while maintaining the renowned Titleist feel, sound, and aesthetics.

The three models in the GT line cater to different performance needs:

  • GT2: Focuses on speed and forgiveness with a higher MOI (moment of inertia), providing stability across the face.
  • GT3: Balances speed and control, optimizing distance and ball flight.
  • GT4: A low-spin 430cc driver that minimizes spin for a penetrating, faster trajectory.

A significant feature of the new GT drivers is the Seamless Thermoform Crown, constructed from a Proprietary Matrix Polymer, which is ultra-light, enabling optimal weight distribution. This leads to enhanced speed, stability, and forgiveness. The new drivers also benefit from refined aerodynamics, a Speed Ring, and Variable Face Thickness (VFT) design, all of which contribute to faster ball speeds and more consistent spin and launch, even on off-center strikes.

Titleist's commitment to outdoing its previous models is evident, with the GT line designed to surpass the performance of the TSR series in every aspect: speed, distance, forgiveness, and overall player experience.

Titleist has expanded the technological advancements found in its new GT driver line to create the GT2 and GT3 fairway metals, designed to deliver fast ball speeds, higher flight, optimal spin, and longer carry distances. These clubs are engineered to provide top performance both off the tee and into the green, catering to golfers who need versatility and playability from their fairway metals.

Key Features:

  • GT2 and GT3 Models: Both fairway metals share the engineering breakthroughs of the GT driver line, focusing on fast speeds, higher flight, and optimized spin for longer carry. However, each model offers a distinct feel and performance based on player preference.

  • Seamless Thermoform Crown: As with the GT drivers, the fairway metals feature a crown made from Titleist's Proprietary Matrix Polymer, an ultra-light material that allows weight to be redistributed for better performance. This construction provides an ideal center of gravity position, resulting in high ball flight with lower spin.

  • Sound and Feel: The Proprietary Matrix Polymer also enhances the acoustic properties of the fairway metals, maintaining the classic Titleist look, sound, and feel.

  • L-Cup Face Design: This design improves performance on low-impact shots, ensuring that even mis-hits retain speed and launch.

  • Versatility: Titleist has tailored these fairways to meet the needs of a wide range of players, focusing on playability, forgiveness, and all-around performance. Whether off the tee or from the fairway, these clubs offer exceptional versatility.

Both models offer distinct shaping and performance characteristics, providing players with tailored options based on their swing preferences and needs, continuing Titleist's tradition of innovation and superior performance.
