Titleist Releases Limited-Edition T-Series Black Vapor Irons
Titleist has unveiled a new limited-edition Black Vapor finish for its popular T-Series iron lineup, bringing a sleek, premium look to four of the brand’s most-played models: T100, T150, T250 and T350.
The new Titanium Carbide Vapor finish is applied through a specialized vapor-deposition process that bonds directly to the clubhead, creating a durable, smudge-resistant coating designed to maintain its appearance round after round. To complete the all-black aesthetic, each model comes standard with True Temper Onyx shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet Blackout grips.
The release builds on Titleist’s longstanding success in the iron category. Titleist irons have been the most-played irons on the PGA TOUR in 21 of the past 22 seasons, including each of the last 12 years.
The Black Vapor finish is already familiar to a number of tour professionals who have preferred the darker look for years. Among them is Cameron Smith, who currently plays a combination of T250 and T100 Black irons and famously used T100 Black irons during his victory at The 150th Open Championship.
For Smith, the appeal goes beyond aesthetics.
“I've used the black finish since the AP2’s came out,” Smith said. “For me, it's how they look. It creates a tighter finish line on top and makes the club appear a little smaller. It helps me focus a bit more when I’m standing over the ball.”
With the introduction of the limited-edition Black Vapor lineup, golfers now have the opportunity to experience the same tour-inspired look and performance package trusted by some of the game's best players.
